Pokémon Go may be at the forefront of getting our kids to go outside again, but as any health expert will tell you, activity is just half the battle when it comes to a healthful lifestyle. You are what you eat, after all, and now, there’s a new platform hoping to create a healthier generation through food and technology. Meet TuckrBox, branded as “the first farm-to-lunchbox meal delivery program for kids.”
With TuckrBox, kids will be able to exercise autonomy over their diets, and parents cam rest assured that meals will be local, fresh, and nutritious. The weekly subscription-based model allows kids to build their own weekly lunch menus via an app, while their parents frame the available choices by specifying dietary preferences and allergies.
All meals come with a main course and two sides, and children will be exposed to new foods that don’t come pre-packaged in plastic wrap, but are rather seasonal and crisp.
